What every bodies knows.

In a fascinating article in The Times today Lord Danny Finkelstein, set out an argument about the future of the prime minister. He cites a book recently published by professor Steven Pinker the American academic in his book When Everyone Knows That Everyone Knows: Common Knowledge and the Science of Harmony, Hypocrisy and Outrage. This is particularly relevant regarding the current leadership of the Labour Party. It’s now common knowledge that the prime minister, isn’t up to the job and will be replaced sonner or later. It’s moved from mutual knowledge to - common knowledge and that is a - lethal change of direction. Moreover the most recent opinion poll by You Gov suggests Reform is on 27 per cent, Labour and the Tories on about 17 per cent each. So it’s not looking good for either the hitherto leading domestic political parties. Consequently it’s making MP’s very jumpy as they could lose their seats at the next general election.
