The Speakers conference.

 This week the Speaker of the House of Commons Sir Lindsay Hoyle, had the report back - he had commissioned, about the MP’s abuse on line and on other social media. According to the report, a staggering 96 per cent of MP’s have received threatening, abuse correspondence. This is more prevalent for black and minority female MP’s. Hoyle, is concerned this might deter potential good candidates - seeking to become a member of parliament. It’s a dark day for our democracy, if this isn’t dramatically reduced or stopped all together.
