According to the Chief Inspector of - Boarders and Immigration, getting into the country illegally and via remote inlets in places like Scotland, Cornwall and Northern Ireland - is possible. They could use small yachts, or fishing boats to either smuggle migrants, drugs or firearms, undetected - due to the remoteness of the location. However back in February 2022 - a vessel smuggling people to Rye Harbour, on the south coast arrested 14 people from France. The coastline of the UK is estimated to be about 11,000 miles, so plenty of places to hide and get ashore undiscovered and illegally. No doubt making a lot of money for a few people.
