“Events dear boy, events” was reportedly said by the prime minister Harold McMillan, many years ago. This week we have seen a new political phenomenon - burger gate. On her CV Kamala Harris, claims long ago she - flipped bergers at McDonald’s. This claim has been refuted by Trump. In fact on Monday he spent part of the day at a MacDonald’s drive by restaurant - on the French fries section. Customers were greeted by Trump, with a friendly smile and hand shake, before they drove off. Could this make any difference on 5 November? Probably not - but it questions the veracity of Harris, in the last few days of the race.
