Top of the class.

 According to the latest research by The Sunday Times, Good University Guide for 2025 - The London School of Economics (LSE) has leapfrogged all the competition and is now - top of the class. My old university has done exceptionally well and I was a student their in the early 1970's. I  had a brilliant time and - was chair of the Socialist Society - for one year. In second place is St Andrew's University, followed by Oxford and then Cambridge. In the 31 years since the guide was established its the first time neither - Oxford or Cambridge are not in the top rankings. About three-quarters of the students at the LSE - including post-graduate students come from abroad. They are drawn from over 150 countries, making it one of the most diverse university anywhere in the world. It's now become a magnet for many outstandingly talented academic students. Personally, I'm very proud to be an Alumni of my old university the LSE.
