Well it's not even 3 months since Sir Keir Starmer, came to power and the communication fandango continues a pace. The snouts are back in the freeby trough. If it wasn't so sad and predictable - it would make you cry. Whatever happened to integrity and decency? We've had Partygate, gold wall paper and the general failure of the Boris Johnson, government over Covid and now a gang of Roundheads are at it. I despair of politics and political parties. The optics aren't good. This at the same time as taking money away from pensioners over the winter fuel payments. The Scrooge, Rachael Reeves, has a serious PR problem. Many years ago the veteran Labour Party politician Denis Healey, and former chancellor famously said - "when in a hole, stop digging". The government is in deep hole and should take his wise advice. This weekend - is the Labour Party conference in Liverpool - good luck with that Starmer - as much anger will be directed at him and Reeves.
