In a fascinating article in The Spectator magazine this week - we have a curious piece called - The boomerang gang by Geoff Hill. Essentially it's about illegal migrants into South Africa, who as soon as they are deported, very quickly are back into South Africa. It's a busy and lucrative business for all concerned. Taxi drivers and companies are waiting to pick them up - and drive them back again across the leaky boarder. Money exchanges hands all along the route. Police officers, immigration officials, custom officers, cafes, cheap hotels and petrol stations - are all making a steady and good living. Everyone is doing good business in the - boomerang trade. The same is also true with illegal immigrants coming across the English Channel. So wake up Britain and smell the coffee - the boomerang business is truly global.
