Over many years the Volvo estate has been the car of the middle classes and of course the antiques dealer. I've been the proud owner over the years of three, starting way back in 1980 and finishing in 1995. Well the story of the middle class work horse has finished up in the knackers yard. The Chinese owner Geely said it was discontinuing the making of the estate and saloon range. It will henceforth only be selling SUV 's in the UK. The end of an era.
