Tme for change in Iran.

With the decisive election of Mr Rouhani (64) in Iran there may be an opportunity for change in Iranian politics, both and home and abroad. There has been a stand off, especially between the US and Iran now for many years. Mr Rouhani speaks a number of languages fluently, he studied law at Glasgow Caledonian University. As I mentioned yesterday this part of the Middle east is a 'tinder box' at the moment. If there can be improved relationship with Iran and the outside world all will benefit. The people of Iran over years have suffered from many deprivations, including political isolation. Will the US take this new opportunity as a way of changing the bellicosity between the two nations?  Obama needs to 'turn the page' for better times ahead.
