Over the last ten years this country has had a collective nervous breakdown. We have had the build up to Brexit with David Cameron after the general election of 2015 and referendum in 2016. The resignation of Cameron, and then Teresa May as prime minister. The general election of Boris Johnson, in December 2019. Covid in March 2020. Boris Johnson and Partygate and his resignation. The death of the Queen in September 2022. Liz Truss, who lashed only 49 days. And then a war in Ukraine and a war in the Middle East. What is Keir Starmer going to do about the quagmire we are in? What is the governments overall strategy, goals and policy? What is the narrative? They should focus on - what works for ordinary people. The future is full of uncertainty and problems - AI and technology and changes in the social media world. What of the possibility of future wars - there is a real fear of a land war in Europe and how will we react? Migration both legal and illegal - must be addressed and is a major issue going forward. What future for Britain plc?
