Memory, cognition and exercise.

There is increasing evidence to support the hypothesis that - exercise has on memory the following day, with benefits from neurotransmitters - thought to only last a few hours. This new data has been compiled by University College, London and led Dr Mikaela Bloomberg. The research considered what the longitudinal benefits of 30 minutes of daily moderately vigorous exercise had on memory? They were relatively optimistic that there was a - causal correlation between the two. This isn’t sufficient, but other factors are also in play, namely: diet, weight, alcohol consumption, not smoking, good regular nights sleep of at least 6 hours, positive relationships with friends and family, positive interactions with other people including neighbours, shop keepers, waiters etc, cognitive exercises like - reading a novel, biography, chess etc. all these things taken together add to the general quality of life and reduces stress hormones. Going to the theatre, art galleries, volunteering for things like The National Trust or Royal Academy etc. Taken as a - holistic approach to life in general and as a modus vivendi.
