A report just published by the think tank Policy Exchange, suggests the Commonwealth club of 56 nations - isnt punching above it's weight. The biannual meeting will take place soon and there is general agreement that the Commonwealth club, is a positive organisation. Nevertheless, the Brits don't share this idea and think we have had a negative impact on world history. Interestingly the other nations of the Commonwealth - have a far more benign attitude. So the government should take note and use this collective feeling to good use. We have the Chevening Scholarship, financed by Britain, and many world leaders have benefited from the programme. So let's celebrate the club.
