The last four standing.

 We are in Birmingham at the Conservative Party conference. The current short list is now down to the last four. At the end of the conference, it will be down to the last two - who will be voted on by the membership of the party - in the country. In my opinion it will be either Kemi Badenoch or Robert Jenrick, to lead the Conservative Party. I've taken a bet out on Kemi Badenoch, being the eventually winner. It's all a bit of a - poison chalice - as who would want such a thankless job? Labour are in government for at least 5 years and probably much longer and perhaps 10 years or more? Nevertheless we need a functioning official opposition in a democracy - to hold the government to account. Good luck with this thankless job.
