The canary in the coal mine.

 In Germany for the first time since WW2 - a far right political party has done well at the ballot box. The Alternative for Germany (AfD)  has polled well. Is this a - canary in the coal mine scenario - and precursor for a major right wing shift in the politics of Germany? Some have speculated that Olaf Schultz, could be kicked out as chancellor - at the national elections next year. The touchstone political fault line is - mass uncontrolled immigration. In 2015 the then chancellor Angela Merkel, decided to stupidly - to open the boarder and let in over 1 million, mainly Muslin men aged between 18-25  into Germany. This is the backlash - she unleashed. There are similar politics in France, Holland, Britain, Sweden and other countries. Going forward this is the biggest political - fault line running across the EU. As the bible says - 'what you sow you reap' Galatians 6: 7-9. This is now the case in Germany. Ironically Angela Merkel, was the daughter of a pastor in the old East Germany, many years ago. Are we witnessing the distant rumble of - the eventual breakup of the EU? It was in January 1933 - that Hitler came to power. That's only a little more than 8 years away - and we all know how that ended. I think what we are collectively witnessing is  - increased hostility towards Muslims. Are they now the new Jews of Europe?  Politician must heed these potent warnings - or we all will be swept away in the avalanche.
