Corruption on an industrial scale.

We all know how the Covid crisis back in February 2020 - caught the Boris Johnson, government with its collective pants down. Now through the work of Daniel Bruce, the CEO of the charity Transparency International - the true cost of its gross failure is revealed. The Covid cost to the public finances of such industrial systemic corruption from the top down was an eye poping £48.1billion. Matt Hancock, the then incompetent minister of health and social care - arranged for his mate - the local pub landlord to provide PPE equipment. Bruce, claims in his report - there was  systemic weakness and political naivety at all levels of government. There was a staggering £14.9billion written off by the department of Health and Social Care and a further £1.4 billion of unused PPE stored inappropriately. The Serious Fraud Office (SFO) are looking into these issues. Let's hope we will see those responsible in the dock, some time soon.
