Meeting the neighbours.

Sir Keir Starmer, has popped over the see - chancellor Schultz and today president Macron, in Paris. It's important to get on with the neighbours, especially for trade and collaborating over the touchstone policy of mass illegal migration. This is necessary - to make progress on such contentious and international problems. Since the 2016 referendum, things have been problematic with the neighbours, but progress is what is required.

The IFS report on woeful incompetence of Home Office.

Today a report by the respected Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) is particularly critical of the - woeful incompetence of the Home Office - they had an over spend of a staggering £7.6 billion. How is that possible? It's not something you can lose down the back of the Home Office sofa. No wonder the chancellor Rachael Reeves, is on the war path with the Tories and especially with Sunak and Hunt. Apparently this money was for the housing in hotels of illegal immigrants and for policing and additional immigration officers. No wonder illegal immigration has become a major - political headache for all democracies - as they try and deal with this political 'hot potato'.Time to wake up and smell the coffee, before it's too late.
