Today on BBC Sounds - it's a day of recognising the scientist and broadcaster Dr Michael Mosley. His series Just One Thing - has had a profound impact - as it gave you control of - just one thing. I listened to one programme about - Nordic walking and it's had beneficial effects and it changed my leisurely stroll into a work out. Adding strength to my upper arms, stomach and back and taking pressure off knees, as you are using sticks. What's not to like about Nordic walking? So I feel grateful to him for his wise and sensible advice. What a tragic loss to his wife and family and his devoted followers. He died last month on the Greek island of Symi aged 67. We are all wiser and healthier because of him.
