The analysis published by Eurobarometer - on generational polling data suggests a marked change in attitudes to immigration across the EU. This is particularly stark in countries like: Sweden, Netherlands, Finland and France. The proportion of millenials polled in France who said they felt negative about immigration was 50%. Those born between 1980 and 1997 have very negative attitudes to immigration from outside the EU. In Germany this has increased since 2015 when Angela Merkel, allowed over 1million immigrants into the country. Attitudes have also hardened in Eastern Europe, in countries like Hungry and Poland. These tensions will be put to the test in European wide elections in June. So Europe is moving very fast to the right across the continent and - where will it end up?
