Today from Canterbury Cathedral, I listened on BBC One - the Easter service and found it profoundly moving. I've not been to any church service for the best part of 30 years and that was at St Paul's Cathedral, with my two young children. For some time now I've been pursuing a project of seeing all the cathedrals of England. In May I'm visiting Worcester and Hereford Cathedrals. Nevertheless there still many more to do, but hopefully I can finish the list before I pop off. I'm now listening to J. C. Bach - his outstanding Toccana and Fugue in D minor - played by Peter Hurford on the majesterial and mighty organ at Durham Cathedral. It's all rather wonderful and grand. Very best wishes for Easter to all my many readers and followers. Robin Piper.
