 Well, goodness me - there is life after death as David Cameron - now Lord Cameron, has just proved by Rishi Sunak. He has brought back his old boss from the failed referendum of 2016. British politics has now entered - one of those periods of collective madness. It's comes around about every 50 years or so. Do you remember Sir Alex Douglas Home, one time foreign secretary and then prime minister, after Harold Macmillan, was forced to reseign in the autumn of 1963, following the debacle and Christine Keeler, farrago. It's clearly a besetting sin for the Conservatives - sex and money - are their forbidden fruits. Sir John Major, was caught with his moral  pants down, towards the end of his time in Downing Street.  What will our continental European neighbours make of this nonsense, down at the Palace of Varieties?
