As part of the national day of Remembrance, there are fears that a planned march about the war in Israel and Hamas, will cause public disorder. Over the past week the home secretary - Suella Braverman, has not been helpful by her intemperate remarks. The police are alert to the possibility of the large expected march, might become a running battle with police. Many additional officers have been brought into the capital, to augment the Met. Annually on November 11 - we collectively remember those who died in WW1 and WW2. Almost all families across the country, have cause to mark this day, as they will have been impacted in one way or another. My mother lost two brothers in the First World War, so this day was always an important event in her calendar.
