I've been a big fan of this theatrical historical event for years. Many people in this country think it's a load of nonsense and we should be a place - that is modern and not looking back, at these elements of theatre in our constitution. Others suggest it's more like some grand opera or akin to Gilbert & Sullivan. However - if you don't understand history and pageantry all this will be wasted on as myopic and redundant. I don't share this opinion - these elements of the construction, underpin our democracy and must be safeguarded for generations, that will follow us. I rest my case.
