I have deep sympathy for both sides and can understand why Israel reacted as it did, nevertheless the Palestinian people are not Hamas. Hamas is a terrorist organization, financed by Iran and devoted to eliminating the Jews. In the future the only rational situation in a two state one. Where they both can live side by side for a 1000 years. They have shared this part of the world for a very long time.
