Ukraine has completely dropped out of the news agenda since Saturday 7 October 2023. The war between Hamas and Israel has taken all the news space and oxygen, out of international politics. I've not seen any reporting for a number of weeks. Do the news media assume we have lost interest or think we cannot cope with two wars at the same time? That was not the case in WW2 when we had reports from across the globe, on various fronts fighting to the death. It doesn't serve the media well, to make patronising judgements about what the British public can tolerate - we are not children and can make our own minds up. I hope they will discharge their responsibilities with greater wisdom from now on, but I doubt it.
