Picasso.

 On BBC Two, we have had a wonderful enlightening and educational three part programme about the life of Pablo Picasso. Generally considered the greatest artist of the last century. If you want to try and understand his genius, then this programme - Picasso: The Beauty and The Beast, is a good place to start. He had the most complex relationship with women and had many lovers and affairs. Almost all were at some point depicted in his art. He was a rock star of the art world. One of his relationships was with Francoise Gilot - she wrote a very controversial book about their life together. Picasso lived from 1881 to 1973. What an extraordinary life he had - leaving many damaged people in his wake. Does his art compensate for this?
