As the saying goes - revenge is best served cold. It's now generally assumed that President Putin, authorised the killing of the head of the Wagner mercenary group. The plane he was travelling on was shot down yesterday out side Moscow. Only 2 months ago he started a mutiny against Putin. Prigozhin enjoyed in the past a high degree of autonomy by Putin, but perhaps that went to his head and he started to have political ambitions? This also gives a clear signal to others in the elite around the president, to keep in line, otherwise the same could happen to you.
