 Another day another crisis at Aunty. This time it's about an accusation that a high profile presenter sent compromising pictures to an young adult. The corporation has called in the police to consider the evidence. The director general of the BBC, Tim Davie had an interview today on the World at One on Radio Four. He was robust in his defence of the company. What more can be said about this saga? The Sun newspaper has a vested interest in putting the BBC in the dock. They are keen to have the media organization brought down. Let's hope they are defeated in this ambition. To update the news on the issue, Huw Edwards is the presenter at the centre of the story. His wife Vicky Flind, made a statement last night at just before 6pm admitting her husband was the presenter. She went on to say he was now an inpatient in hospital. This is clearly a devastating situation for Huw his wife and family, so lets give them space to resolve the crisis.
