Champagne comes to Kent.

In the small Tudor Kent village of Chilham near Canterbury one of the best known champagne growers and producers Taittinger has decided to invest in new vines. The terrior is very similar to that in France. They wanted land that is no more than 100 meters above sea level, is south facing and on chalk soil. All these are present in Chilham. So in a few years from now you will be able to enjoy the delights of the finest champagne from Kent.
