Villainy at the heart of the state.
The Russia state is synonymous with amorality and villainy. The case of Alexander Litinenko murdered on the streets of London in November 2006 is a case in point. He drank tea in the Millennium Hotel not knowing it was laced with polonium 210. A few weeks later he died in great agony in University College Hospital. His wife and son pursued the killers and had a proper inquiry, where it was established beyond reasonable doubt - that president Putin was the prime suspect for authorising the killing. All this was explained in a griping programme last night on Channel 4 Hunting the KGB Killers.
