How wrong can you be?

After going through the entrails we have a result that none one in their wildest dreams foresaw. Call me Dave Cameron has romped home with 331 seats in parliament with dear comrade red Ed getting only 232. He therefor has an overall majority, so doesn't need to be propped up by the Lib/Dems. Miliband has like Farage and Clegg before him fallen on his sword. Politics is a very cruel business, one moment your planning the new cabinet and the next your looking at a P45 and the exit. Ed Balls was this morning talking nonsense when he planned the new Labour government in the early hours - he is now looking for a new job. God knows what Yvette Cooper his wife will do with this grumpy old chap. So Cameron now has carte blanche to sweep the stable clean of old folks. I would start with the top people like May, Fallon and Hammond and show them the door of the House of Lords. Home Secretary, Foreign Secretary and Defence are plum jobs are should go to up and coming stars. He should also promoted more women into the cabinet. In five years he plans to be off so he has the power to do what his wants - there is no one that can challenge him now - not even that over ambitious Bullingdon bumptious old chum Boris. So a new start to the school term for head boy Cameron.
