The centre grown of politics.
The other day Tony Blair critised the Labout Party in general and Ed Miliband in particular for not occupying the centre ground of politics. Well today Ed Balls in The Guardian has rebutted this charge saying clearly that they do occupy the centre. As we draw closes to the election in May the Labour Party will seek to demonstrate that the Conservatives under Cameron and boy George have been pushed to the right, both by their own party and UKip. If that can achieve this task with a clear focus then the are indeed in with a good chance. Having said this Ed Miliband must increase the imput of other senior Larbour politicians so the fire power can be improved. Moreover they must all sing from the same hymn sheet, otherwise the message will be confusing for the punters. Having them all stay on message will not be easy and any lapsus linguae will be jumped upon by their rivals. My hope is the will will indeed get a Labour victory, otherwise the personal social services that many elderly and others depend on will be in dire trouble. Roll on May.
