The keys to number ten.

According to the latest poll for The Observer the demographic breakdown of voting intentions for the May 2015 General Election of those aged between 18-24 are as follows: Labour 41%, Conservatives 26%, Greens 19% and the Lib/Dems at 6%. If you now compare that to the actual voting in the 2010 election they are as follows: Labour 31%, Conservatives 31% and the Lib/Dems on 30%. Labour have increased their probably/possible vote but the biggest losers are Clegg and the Lib/Dems. Clegg is a busted flush and they will be obliterated in May. An interesting fact when the statistics are drilled into is that this age group are very pro Europe and the whole EU project. This is clearly very bad news for UKip and the European sceptics in the Conservative Party. They don't get a look in.
So the future is with the progressive Labour Party that has compassionate social policies and that are not perceive as discriminatory or backward looking but the touchstone being - intentionally libertarian in outlook..
Moreover this is very good news as the young have grown up in the social media age where their network of friendships are far more heterogeneous and socially diverse. We can therefore extrapolate from this data a broadly optimistic future for our young and hard working entrepreneurial Britain - that is outward looking.
