The Senate report raises more questions than it answers. Is there s smoking gun pointing at Blair? Clearly George W Bush new all the activities of the CIA as he signed them off with his thugs in the White House. If that is the case this narcissistic politician TB is in deep shit. The Iran's have already cited this report to answer the claims about their human rights history, similarly Russian and China have jumped on the moving bandwagon. The so called 'war on terror' is going to reap a terrible harvest as its currently is in the Middle East with IS in Syria and Iraq. What is colloquially referred to as 'blow back' this is now happening across this region.
Needless to say a reaction from the US was inevitable following 9/11, but this over reaction has poisoned the political debate, and made dialogue more difficult. To have TB as the Middle East peace envoy is pushing irony beyond breaking point. It reminds me when the past Secretary of State Henry Kissinger was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, after all the things he did in Vietnam with his friend and crook Richard Milhouse Nixon.
