Closing stages of an amazing two weeks.

Over the past two weeks I have felt in a - time warp - life has been postponed to enjoying the games in all their multi-various glory. I have watched things that in normal circumstance I would not give the time of day - Taekwondo, Water Polo and Equestrianism: Dressage - I didn't even know what that was before this week - and we have done rather well at it. I must say I'm feeling a bit depressed about the idea that it will be over in a few hours time. I know the Para- Olympics will soon start, but its not the same thing. How easy it is to become an addict to something you didn't know that you needed. Will the rush of interest in sport continue until Rio - in four years time? Also the sense of - bonhomie that has enveloped us all, we that disappear when the torch goes out? The country has felt different, and the sun has eventually come out, so its all be rather fun - like a big street party. Enjoy the last couple of days - I will!
