Drama.

Last night I went to see the new movie Drama with my daughter - the film was recently released in the UK. It has a brilliant and fascinating plot. Four friends decide to play a game of - honestly. In other words what is the craziest thing - you’ve done or thought of doing? Needless to say - it’s a terrible car crash of an idea. Three of the friends have relatively less than scary ideas. However there is collective astonishment when Emma, played unconvincing by Zendaya, confesses to - thinking of and planning a brutal gun attack on her school. What do you do after this extraordinary revelation? You just can’t go on - as if nothing has happened. And it’s the reverberations of this that the - Drama is all about. How will the forthcoming marriage between Charlie, played convincingly by Robert Pattinson and Emma be effected? The other two friends, the maid of honour Rachel and the best man Mike - are dumbfounded. At the wedding reception the whole - house of cards collapsed and there is general mayhem, culminating in a - head butt by Rachel’s boyfriend on Charlie. I think this plot line is very sophisticated as we all know in America there are innumerable - gun attacks on schools and other places. But - what are the consequences, both emotionally and physically to these atrocities? They influence many people across society and this isn’t sufficiently examined. My daughter and I had a very interesting discussion about the film.  My score ⭐️⭐️⭐️.
