According to The New Statesmen magazine the latest opinion polls suggest that the Labour Party has slipped back. The Reform Party at 29 per cent, Conservatives on 19 per cent, Labour Party on 18 per cent, Green Party on 15 per cent and Lib/Dems 13 per cent. This isn’t good news for the government and in particular the prime minister Keir Starmer, who is doing very badly on a personal level. He is generally regarded as a liability to the party. Will he survive until the end of the year or will he be deposed by someone like Wes Streeting or Angela Rayner?
