It’s almost impossible to explain to someone, not familiar with the game of cricket - just how exciting and complex it can be after 5 exhilarating days. It’s a sport that is baffling to the uninitiated and new comer. However yesterday it went down to the last few overs - in the evening at Headingley. We were fortunate to have in the second innings by England - of a quite outstanding partnership by Zac Crawley and Ben Duckett. Together they represented the biggest fourth-innings opening partnership in a - winning effort in Tests history. Someone once said of cricket - ‘the English invented it - to give them some understanding of eternity’. England beat India by 5 wickets. Im looking forward to the next Test match starting next week in Birmingham, Edgbaston. It will be an engrossing tournament between two great teams of cricket.
