The polling companies across America got it wrong. They didn’t forecast the Trump victory. The betting people did a much better job and one in particular - Polymaker was predicting a Trump win. Others like - Betfair and Smart Markets were also more reliable. The track record of polling companies are now at a low ebb. If you’re unlucky to have shares, they will go down in value. So much egg on so many faces. What now for the last days of the Biden administration? Kamala Harris, is a - busted flush and ran a disastrous campaign. All - hot air and fatuous speeches - with nothing explicit and definite. Her place in history will be remembered as a political failure. Trump on the other hand is like Lazarus - brought back from the political grave - to live again. What will his - second coming look like after 20 January 2025? As chairman Mao said years ago “we live in interesting times”.
