Two tier helth as the NHS cannot cope.

A report commissioned by the Joseph Roundtree Trust, by Loughborough University, suggests increasingly people are giving up on the NHS. They cannot rely on the service for their basic needs like seeing a GP, dentist, cataract operation and physiotherapy etc. If you'd have the money then this isn't a problem, but what of - the many across the country who just can't do that? The universal service, free at the point of need is a shibboleth - that's dead as a Dodo. Why has it come to this? After years of austerity following the banking meltdown of 2008 and the coalition government from 2010 - its been going down hill. Waiting lists for basic operations are something like 7.8 million. Now you are more likely to die, before being seen. The UK is near the bottom of the OECD recent report of advanced economies for health outcomes - cancer, cardiovascular disease, dementia, prostate cancer, pancreatic cancer etc. What an Eton mess - the Labour government will need a revolution to change this.
