Following the ITV programme Mr Bates vs The Post Office scandal last week - the shit has hit the fan. Everyone is blaming everyone else for this egregious political, legal and financial debacle. Very few saw this crisis coming, as it's been under the political radar for many years. Computer Weekly, wrote the first article about this 15 years ago. The computer system Horizon was the problem, not the sub-post masters. But only a brilliant drama brought it to life. All the various pieces of the jigsaw where there in plain sight, but the TV show gave it the human aspect, that was missing from the drip feed account. Now Rishi Sunak, is running to catch up, but has been overtaken by events. He is on the back foot. Who else will be caught up in the maelstrom?
