Paul Patterson, Europe Director at Fujitsu was a very sorry, lonely looking chap in the Business Select Committee this morning. We had the usual bullshit about - wanting to apologize for the distress caused by the company regarding the fiasco of the Post Office debacle. Just another overpaid bureaucratic, spouting nonsense to the committee. Let's hope there will be criminal prosecutions against those responsible for what has happened across man years to sub-post office managers. The distress, depression and in some cases suicide has been a national disgrace to the Post Office management. Moreover the government has a case to answer for this shambles. Who knew what and when this computer system was faulty? Another computer failure to set along side the NHS one. This is costing the public purse many millions of pounds.
