Civil war.

 Civil war is a contradiction in terms, because it's far from civil. In England we experience the horrors of civil war in the middle of the 17 century, with Roundheads against the Cavaliers, culminating in the execution of Charles I in January 1649. Nevertheless, it was the birth of the Enlightenment and progress in the nature sciences, arts, science in general and the empirical method. The current war in Israel, could develop into a civil war, post conflict. There is extreme hatred between the messianic right of the political spectrum in Israel and the left wing. Each has a deep mistrust of the other, and blame each other for the catastrophic situation facing the country. When the war ends as one day it must, this hatred could spill over into open armed conflict. What a terrifying prospect.
