Liz Truss, remember her? Made a speech today at the Institute for Government, saying that Rishi Sunak, should do the following: cut taxes, reduce benefits, raise the retirement age and delay net zero commitments. It's interesting that it's almost a year from her disastrous budget. Is she completely out of touch with reality? In my opinion, she is placing herself in a position to make a political comeback, after the next election, when the prime minister is kicked out of office by the British public. However, the likelihood of her being prime minister again is somewhat remote.
