The one time MP and mayor of London, Ken Livingstone, has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Apparently he is being looked after by friends and family in north London. Livingstone is only 78, but had a turbulent political career, ending with claims of antisemitism. He was defeated in 2012 mayoral race for London and essentially disappeared from political life. Like Jeremy Corbyn he was of the far left in British politics, but was not loved by the wider public. He will not be missed and was a divisive politicians.
