According to research by the Institute of Economic Research - of some 42,400 employees across 34 countries - found that the Brits, don't want to go to the office. Only Canadian workers are less keen. Apparently the workers in South Korea are more likely to be at their desks, spending on average less than half a day at home. We on the other hand on average like to be at home for 1.5 days per week. Many said if their employer insisted on them being at the office more often, then they would quit. Many want the choice between being in the office and hybrid working. Why are some nationalities more keen to be seen at the desk than others, is an interesting sociological and psychological issue? As they say, more research is necessary.
