The Labour manifesto.

The premature release of the Labour Party manifesto yesterday has caused some consternation. Is it a re-run on the catastrophic debacle of the 1983 general election? Often referred to as the 'longest suicide note in history'. There will be a postmortem into the fiasco, but it has put them on the back foot. There may be some good points, but the overall impression is going back to the past. The underpinning issue for Labour is the mass recruiting sergeant has been unemployed. Steel, coal shipping building and other industries are no more. That in part accounts for the Brexit vote last year. Many parts of the country have not benefited from the new economy. Its a great shame, but poor old Labour has lost its mission and rasion d'etat. I don't think Corbyn is the answer.
