Diane Abbott's sums don't add up.
Poor old Diane Abbott the shadow home secretary on LBC Radio today completely cocked up an interview on police numbers. She was asked how much the Labour Party would allocated to the police? Initially she suggested that for the 10,000 new police officers it would be £300,000. Realising she had made a stupid mistake, she then changed her mind to £80 million. She was stumped because she cannot do the maths. It was a "car crash" of an interview, with it being patently obvious to all the many listeners that she was out of her depth. This is the latest indication of how poor the quality of the shadow cabinet are. We may look back on this interview as a benchmark for the useless campaign of Labour. The nadir of the left. They don't deserve your vote in June until their sums add up.
