Are you keeping up with Egyptian politics?

Over recent days the face of Egyptian politics has been changing very rapidly. Have you been keeping up? We had a military coup, that was not a military coup, because the military said it wasn't. The elected president Mr Morsi of the Islam Brotherhood, was not popular with many in his country. So they went onto the streets mainly in the capital Cairo, and eventually got rid of him. Despite the fact that he had been elected by over 50% of the electorate. Where now for this important country at the fulcrum of Arab nationalism? The danger is like Syria - civil war will now erupt. The fear is that after Friday prayers today there will be serious conflict between the opposing forces. The army are in the middle, trying to uphold democracy. What a conundrum - the fox in charge of the chicken coop! Alice in Wonderland is alive an well and living in Egypt.
