The NHS.

On Monday I had to go to my local hospital A&E department - because I had a urininary infection. If you have ever had it - you will know how bloody awful and unpleasant it is? Under normal circumstances, the bladder can contain about 1/2 a litre of fluid. In mine on Monday was a staggering one litre. The consultant said “no wonder it was painful” I was in A&E for about hours. The good news is II don’t have a pain and in about two weeks they’ll withdraw the catheter. So painful, but great relief. The staff were excellent, despite the constant pressure from unwell patients and my constant was particularly understanding.
