The rotten state of Argentina.

The timely murder - for that is what it is of Alberto Nisman the state prosecutor on Sunday night - just before giving damning evidence in a case regarding the death of 85 people and over 300 injured in the capital in 1994. The finger of suspicion points to the president Kirchner for this cruel and dastardly act. The issue is that a 600lb bomb went off at the Argentina Israelite Mutual Association building killing Jews and reducing the place to ruble. There have been no arrests, following a incompetent and corrupt investigation. Imagine that if after 9/11 or 7/7 nothing had happened - what would the public think and what would their reaction be? Just so for many Jews in Argentina and the rest of the general public. Underpinning the whole debacle is the relationship with Iran. Argentina needs oil and Iran is happy to provide it to them, but is believed a deal was made behind closed doors regarding the Jews in the capital. They say a fish rots from the head down - so it is in Argentina with Kirchner in charge - her husband was the previous president, so she has a vested interest to keep things in the dark and covered up. What a stench!
